Taking God's People to a Higher Place!
Apostle David D. Pittman is a third generational Gospel preacher. He was reared in the
Pastor Benjamin E. Boulding, Sr. Pastor Boulding was his grandfather and the Elijah in his
life having received a portion of his mantle of Preaching, Healing, Prophecy and an Apostolic
prophetically, declared and decreed and had visions and dreams of his ultimate call to
ministry. Apostle Pittman received salvation in Jesus Christ in June 1984. From that point on,
he has been a faithful steward of God's calling in his life. He was called into the ministry of
the Word of God in May 1985 under the leadership of Elder Charles D. Hill. He served as an
associate Minister under Elder Hill at the Fairbanks Church of God in Christ from May 1986 to
April 1990.
It was during this time that Bishop Pittman met and married his help meet and co-laborer in the
gospel, Shelia Joy Josey. The two were united in matrimony on January 2, 1987. Together they
nurture and admonish three children: Charles, Davinia, and David, and are the love
grandparents of two: Daviniece and Michayla. Apostle Pittman became the Pastor of the Miracle
Chapel Church of God in Christ on April 14, 1990, and served there until May 11, 1997. He
ministry's apostolic commission began on May 18, 1997. It was during this period that the Holy
Spirit began to direct this man of God in the direction of divine apostolic atmosphere as the Lord
began to send men of God who operated in the "Five-fold Ministry; realm and Spirit came
into being. Apostle Pittman believes that all apostolic ministries not only have authority, but and
divinely connected to some great men sent by God: On July 14, 2004, he was consecrated as
Chief Apostle of The Rock Ministries by Apostle Marvin Moore of Warrenton, GA. Pastor Kenneth
Skelton of Houston, TX mentored and taught him in Seed time and Harvest as well as financial
stewardship of the leaders. Prophet Munday Smith of Oakland, CA introduced the Five-fold
Apostolic-Prophetic commissioning of the Kingdom. Prophet Stanley Jack of Columbus, OH
introduced Revelational Preaching and Apostolic and Prophetic principles. Bishop Robert L.
Campbell of Rosenberg, TX confirmed Apostle Pittman's calling to the office of Presiding
Bishop in a formal investiture ceremony on November 5, 2006 and Apostle R. Joshua Mitchell of
Houston, TX has been an awesome covenant brother who has brought Apostolic
Prophetic-Kingdom understanding, literature and information into his grasp. Without these
accumulations of divine experiences and support, the Apostolic will of God in him could not be
accomplished in him. Apostle Pittman is often called upon to preach to congregations regarding
God's divine plan for blessing in the ministry of sowing and reaping. His energetic preaching
style and infusions of humor endear him to listeners in any setting. He is known throughout the
United States as a man of faith and power.
